BWA – Federal Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade
In September 2016, the Austrian Asian Association (AAA) sealed a strategic partnership with the German Federal Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade (BWA), which has about 1,000 members.
Organized at federal and state level as well as in regional international business clubs, it brings together leaders from science, industry and public life.
The regular and mutual exchange through the participation in meetings and events and personal member talks serve the common advocacy of interests in Asia for the benefit of all members, the bilateral contact of the companies of both institutions and the common material work on substantive issues.

AustroCham Hong Kong – The Austrian Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong
In January 2019, the Austrian Asian Association (AAA) signed the agreement with the AustroCham Hong Kong. As part of the Business Luncheon on January 11 at the Madame Fu restaurant in Hong Kong, our president Walter Junger presented the AAA and solemnly sealed the agreement of both associations with AustroCham chairman Wilhelm Brauner.
The purpose of this agreement is the joint representation of interests in Europe, Asia but also globally for the benefit of the members, the contact of the companies and members of both institutions and the common material work on substantive issues.
To ensure this purpose, there will be a regular and mutual exchange through participation in meetings and events, links to the websites of both parties, regular inclusion in newsletters and personal member discussions.
